This place is one of my favs, as a matter fact it is number one on my list! I just had the opportunity to book this venue for my 30th birthday and it was worth every penny. I definitely had a time to remember and such positive energy from all staff. Everyone is professional, listens to your ideas, and some how makes the place come to light! Thank you Friends for making my birthday one for the books!

I used this location for my 40th birthday. I went to see the hall and loved it. I asked Jean (The Owner) What the deposit would be and her reply was that the hall needed to be paid off by Jan 31st to get the special. Therefore, this would lead one to believe that there was no deposit needed immediately. Anyway things went bad quickly. I gave her 100 deposit and she called me stating that wasn't enough to hold the date. Now before she debited my card that should have been explained. We worked through that. I paid the hall off January 31st for a party on March 22nd. She emailed me a contract and never went over it at all. 2 days prior to my party she calls me stating that there was a 125.00 bar tender fee which she never mentioned in January or February yet she mentions it 2 days before my party. She and her friends were at the party the entire time. She tried to shut my party down at 11. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Who has ever heard of anyone getting out of a party by at 12 on the dot. She even tried to take my plates by kicking them under the table but someone notified my husband because they saw her and he looked under the table and got my stuff. This lady is a con artist that tries to get over on people by adding hidden fees and not going over her contract with you at all. She called my party planner stating that music was too loud and so on. ITS A HALL AND A PARTY. I would not suggest that anyone use this establishment until she learns how to be a professional business woman.

I was very disappointed how they treated my guest when I rented this place put for my wedding reception. They are very rude and unprofessional. I would never recommend them and feel bad for anyone who had to endure what my guest and I had to endure for my occasion.

My grandmother's 90th birthday lunch was a huge success. The decor, food and service was exceptional. Jean was very attentive to the guest of honor. I was extremely impressed and would use the facility again if the need arises.

I had my mother's retirement party @ Friends a Meeting Place it was a grand ole affair . I told the staff we were wearing orange and brown, they laid that place out in those colors it was beautiful. I had the best time ever , everyone has been asking me to throw another Party there but it was not me it was the staff that did a SPECTACULAR job . They were so professional every thing went off perfect. They were there to let my Ice sculpturist in no problem ,it was just well put together place. I highly reccommend Friends to EVERYONE . Professional Professional Professional .looking forward to having something else there.

Ms Jean is the most wonderful lady that I have meet here in st.louis that I can't wait for this event to happen .. So if you are looking for a place to have a event please check out this one .. it is off the chain.. Thanx Ms Jean for all that you have done for me since I walk into your place of business.. Check it people cause you will fall in love with it like I did.. Can't wait for the event to take place so I can write another review

Feb 19,2010 I celebrated my 50th Birthday at Friends-AMeeting Place I had the time of my life My quest were greeted at the door with warm smiles on the coldest night in Feb We gather around a lit fireplace for cocktails, then enjoyed an elegant dinner prepared by staff. I want to thank the owner and staff for the excellent service rendered .This Place is the ultimate venue. only wish I could do all over great Job Jean Thanks for the memories Sharon Kaye

I attended a repass at this facility but I was very impressed with the decor and service this would be a great place for a bachelor or bachelorette party or any other event as wellthe owners were hands on and extremely professional. Loved it keep it up Ladies!

MY ONE TIME EXPERIENCE, I HAD A VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE WITH FRIENDLINESS, I AM INSPIRED TO HAVE ACTIVITIES THERE.

I was astonished and disappointed by how unprofessional this facility is, I would not recommend them for anyone's special ocassion.

They are very rude and unprofessional. They do not know how to talk to customers. They do not present themselves as a business at all.

Thanks for a glorious event everything was great for my mothers birthday party down to the last little detail. I recommend this venue to anyone wanting to have a great event made better.
