Workers called before arriving and went right to work. It took some time to explain but not a problem really. Did what looked to me a beautiful job and the boss came to inspect the job. I couldn't have been more pleased with Exterior Building Solutions.

I met with two representatives from Exterior Building Solutions to go over my requests. Within that week (two days later) my roof was installed. The job was completed professionally. It looked great and I was pleased.

Mr. Grossman was able to make the repairs on the same day that he came out to give an estimate. He explained where the water was coming in and provided a 1 year warranty. Perfect in every aspect. Exterior Building Solutions and their team was great to work with. They answered all my questions and they were very professional.

Anthony and Lou did a very good job. I had 5 bids, they were not lowest or highest, but best overall package. Yard and landscaping was covered by tarps during tear off and site was cleaned of debris. It took longer than I expected to get the job started due to their work load, but once started, completed job quickly and thoroughly. Overall very satisfied with their work and would contract with them again.

We had had a bit of work done on this roof already, on and off leaking, and finally got a few quotes on getting this job done once and for all. EBS was in the middle of the pack, which ranged from $800-13,000. At this point let me say that buying a roof is incredibly confusing, with so many different products and choices of what can be done. We opted for a new roof with EBS based on their reviews and professionalism. The work was done on time and the cost was exactly as quoted. It didn't rain much until this week so I've waited to post the review. After maybe six inches of rain in two days, I feel confident saying that our new roof is great!

The sales team that came out to do the estimate was professional, on time, responsive. I thought their quote was very fair. They were able to actively work with my insurance company on the repairs that needed to be made. I am always leery of hiring contractors to work on my home but Exterior Building Solutions did an EXCELLENT job! Great price and great job indeed. I will definitely use them again.

After the big hailstorm some months ago, I wondered whether my roof was affected. I called my insurance company and to my surprise, was told I needed new roofs, gutters, everything, and that my insurance covered it. I talked to Mike Grossman and was impressed by his knowledgeability, and hired Exterior Building Solutions to fix the roof. When I discovered that the roofers had left my driveway covered with nails, I called, and someone was dispatched almost immediately to clean them up. (He did a terrific job, cleaning up the floor of my garage in the process). This made me think more of the company; problems come up, but how a company deals with it tells you whether or not they're a quality outfit. (Some companies try to make it your fault; Exterior Building Solutions responded rapidly and pleasantly).

We got three estimate and they give us the best presentation explaining all our options and the process involved to get the job done. Price wise they where about the same as the other estimates for similar types of work and materials. once we signed the contract and put down our deposit they did the work that week in about 3 days. They did all that was called for in the contact and did a good job. I was home for two of the three days so I was able to see most of that was done. Overall it looks very good. Only one or two minor issues.

My experience with Exterior Building Solutions was very positive. I was pleased with their professionalism, knowledge,and patience during the quote/decision stage. Their quote was very competitive with the other quotes I got. I experienced absolutely no hassles whatsoever during the job which started and was completed in exactly the timeframe they told me. The finished product is beautiful, and I am 100% confident in their workmanship. They left the jobsite spotless and made sure that my special warranty documentation with Certainteed quickly arrived. Their administrative staff is attentive and tries hard to please the customer. They completely lived up to what I thought I was getting. I highly recommend this company!

We hired EBS, which was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. But Anthony spotted things the other guys overlooked or wanted to charge extra for. When the day arrived, the crew, led by foreman Jose, was professional, courteous, neat and friendly. They came back the next day to clean up (a Saturday of a holiday weekend), and then Jose returned one week later to put a few finishing touches on the project. Anthony came out on a Saturday once again to inspect the work for himself - again, the attention to detail is impressive. We didn't expect to have to replace our roof any time soon, but our experience with EBS made it easy. We have already personally recommended EBS to other clients.

I used Angie's List to get bids from 5 companies for the roofing work needed. All bids were responsive, but Exterior Building Solutions were one of the lower prices (not the lowest) and offered the best overall quality solution. They were thorough, very responsive, listened to all my concerns and took time to be sure all my questions were answered (I am an engineer so had a lot of technical questions). They were especially helpful in explaining the various solutions available for my flat roof area which needed special attention. Their solution for this area, although slightly more expensive, was clearly the best way to go. No other contractor suggested or offered this solution. Once we signed the contract in September, weather played havoc on our plans for an install date. Material was here, but good weather was not! They were very flexible in waiting until we had several days of dry weather with temperatures well above 50 degrees to assure the best install conditions. This took a wait of almost 6 months. Once scheduled, everything went as planned. Installation was exactly as described with a super clean up job afterwards. Their gutter sub-contractor was also as professional and skilled as Exterior Building Solutions crew. After 1 week, I had one item that needed adjustment (one gutter downspout needed to be shortened by 1-1/2" to get a better outflow through a tube to the end of the house). Anthony came over the next day and fixed it! No problem, super service.

Had a little problem getting a response to a request for a bid. Found out later it was due to employee not following up. Co-Owner Anthony Grossman got back with me by phone. Came out and gave me estimate for the above work. Also discussed some other issues and he was honest enough to tell me that other work really wasn't needed. Being on a limited income I appreciated that advice. My problem started with storm damage from a tree planted too close to an addition on the back of the house. As the tree grew it branched out and become much too close. Consequently when storm came it batted against and damaged the gutter along this addition. Also one of the branches overhanging the addition did damage to the roof shingles. Rubbed them down. And part of the soffit on the edge just disappeared. Never could find it. Anthony replaced the whole gutter with a seamless one. (Old gutter was in three separate pieces.) Seamless looked so much better. This was done quickly, so much so that one day I came home and it was done! Anthony then came out later on himself and finished up the roof shingle replacement. Matched the old shingles very nicely. Was a hot day and he did a great job. He also replaced the soffit with material I had on hand. All old gutter and shingles were cleaned up and taken away. Nice clean up job. Also received a One Year Warranty on workmanship. Thanks Anthony for taking the time to follow up and get this work done for me!

It took a while because of the storm. They did everything well. I think I would recommend them. They did everything we asked them to do and if something wasn't right, they did everything they could do to make it right for us. They were really good on customer service. They fixed a couple of things that we didn't like without charging. They seemed to be pretty competitive on price.

Mr. G responded to my phone call promptly. We arranged to met shortly after 4 that day and when when I got home about 4:10 he was there and had already assessed the problem...then he also checked inside garage attic to find the leakage into the attic there near chimney. He gave an estimate and since he had a good rating on Angie's list I decided to go with him (I did not get bids because there were water spot on my family room ceiling and I was afraid of a big storm--which we had about a week after he got repaired.) We had experienced a failure of a roof vent system in 2008 and had extensive drywall damage and had the roof replaced by a neighbor who is now out of business...so I may have future concerns.I wanted to wait a bit to watch to see if I had a bigger spot, but I think it has been fine since his repair. I will call him again as I do have other concerns. I referred the co. to my son John and also to my secretary whose daughter had them do work at her home as well. I was VERY pleased! My repair was complete in about a week...he had to order shingles and we had to wait over the weekend. Thank you!

I am extremely happy with their performance and their professionalism. I have an old house and there was a problem getting the old gutters off the first time and a hole where a squirrel could get in. They informed me of the problems, got my ok and fixed them without additional charges. They go the extra mile and their work is excellent.

It went very well, and he was very knowledgeable. His work is of high quality. He replaced a roof that had just been installed and was leaking, and he fixed the problem. He really went above and beyond to meet my expectations.When I was getting quotes from several roofers, he was the only one to offer to tarp the top of the roof to protect the house from further water damage. He didn't even have my business, and yet he was still willing to offer this to me.

From the initial call to completion, I was very pleased with the service. The woman in the office was very friendly and I felt confident from the start I would get good service. Someone came out quickly and looked at the problem, both inside and out. The bid came in $100 lower than another estimate I received (plus they offered an Angie's List discount). The workers came out the next week and, in fact, worked in the evening to get the job done. I would highly recommend them.

My experience from the estimate to the work done was excellent. The installer was very good . He completed the work in the heat and rainstorm with no complaints. The work was done well and the clean up was good. Highly recommended.

Process was very professional. Sales person came to the house, took photos of the roof and trouble spots to confirm we needed a new roof, then briefed us on options including clever new roof vents with eave air intakes to provide attic ventilation. Their bid was in the middle of two others, but their thoroughness and attention to detail was what convinced us to go with EBS. We expected the work to take 2.5 to 3 days...actually did it in a day and a half. Work crew was courteous, quiet, and attentive to the shrubs. Clean up was outstanding with a couple of follow ups to ensure they got all the nails and trash. All in all a very satisfying experience. And the roof vents really work...we can tell the difference: on hot days the a/c doesn't run constantly like it used to and the upstairs is noticeably cooler. Thanks EBS

Came up with a solution for a gutter problem that I have had for many years. Installed a new down spout and rerouted old gutters. Also replaced 3 cap shingles on the roof. Did a great job for a reasonable price.
