This place is terrible. The smell is horrific when you walk in. All those poor animals. I would never support this place.

This is a Great place with Awesome animals and Unbeatable prices. I get tons of stuff from here all the time.

If only I could have given a 0 rating. I wish I would have read the reviews before going into this place. I felt terrible after leaving this establishment and felt I had to do something to advocate for these poor animals. I completely agree with the other negative posts. The stench when walking in is disgusting. Now I think...what was I was breathing? The animals looked malnourished and hungry. The cages were overcrowded and filthy. When the man opened the cage the turtles seemed as if they were starving. Another turtle was hitting its head repeatedly on the cage the entire time we were in the store. There were snakes in containers smaller than I put left over food in. What kind of habitat is that for an animal to live in? The small amount of water in a frogs cage had turned to slime from the lack of cleanliness. If you go in here I assure you will have the same outcome. This place is pitiful. I am sad for these animals. I have to warn other people so this place can be shut down. Owners, please close. You are obviously not animal people. Have you been in your store lately? If so, all I have to say is, how could you treat animals like this??? I am sharing my experiences in hopes that people will NOT patronize this place. This is a snake lover's dream. This place knows everything about my boa and my 3 geckos (crested). They are super cheap on crickets compared to Petsmart and they have Alice Coopers snake too! I couldn't believe how many cool reptiles and amphibians they had all together. My son was very impressed with how active the snakes were and begged me to buy him one. Maybe this Christmas I will let him go crazy and get his own. This place rocks and I hope that if you're into exotic pets, you'll give them a try. Thanks guys and gals!

I have been looking for a place to buy a scorpion and found the perfect one. The staff helped me choose a scorpion that was mild-mannered and perfect for the terrarium I had set up. They knew so much about the arachnids I thought I had died and went to heaven! I was helped by Christian and he took the time to explain how to properly care for and love my new pet. They gave us a HUGE discount for bundling the bedding, lamps, crickets, and decorations. I couldn't be happier and I can't wait to go back! THANK YOU GUYS!

Many of the people commenting have never been to the Arc. I have been coming and going here for at least 4 to 5 years now. And honestly some people need to understand there is only one volunteer at a time on days. They try their hardest to upkeep everything and if you go in there now it looks wonderful. The animals are healthy and friendly. The staff are informatative and helpful. They also will go out of there way to assist you in your needs. So if you've ever had a bad experience at the Arc give them a second try and I bet it will be 100% better.

Does not properly tend to pets in their care (housing, nutrition, overall health) and gives customers inaccurate information regarding the necessary care for the given animal.

Please do not shop here, they have numerous dead an dying baby bearded dragons in overcrowded tanks with live ones. Big snakes in tiny tanks. Its very dirty and smells. Please do not shop here.

I'm pretty sure sick animals should be taken to a vet, not left in the cage to die or infect other animals. I've only seen filthier cages in the homes of hoarders.

Not only does the owner horribly overstock the animals into incredibly tiny tanks but many of my friends who have been there say the store looks and smells like literal crap. I've seen the owner give horrible advice and condone taking animals from the wild to be household pets. SHAME ON THIS STORE!!

This place does not care for their animals and leaves dead animals to decompose in their habitats amongst their fellow roommates. Complete neglect and there are pictures and videos that display it. Don't be fooled by all the positive reviews either...there is captured proof that the owner is deleting all negative feedback and reviews on his site and disabled the ratings system. There is also captured proof he is now asking his friends to put in good reviews on his behalf.

Great selection of reptiles and their animals look great and seem healthy!!! Although they were extremely busy, the staff was very friendly and took time to answer my questions and assist me in picking out proper equipment. My son purchased a 2 1/2 foot Red Tail Boa. It looks great and is well tempered. I'm thinking about going back to purchase an adult Ball Python. The snakes are beautiful and they have the best prices on reptiles I have seen.
