Encore Better Homes has been great. We are in the home stretch of a giant kitchen gut remodel (as well as most of our 110 year-old house). Jim at Encore Better Homes is a top-notch professional who has earned a solid reputation in the St. Louis and surrounding area. Jim spent considerable time on my Kitchen project! So if your design is smaller I imagine Jim is just as thorough. While I had a good idea of what I wanted and wanted to use my own plans Jim convinced me to use his planner. And WOW they designed a much better kitchen than I ever could have. He KNOWS his stuff and the ins and outs of Kitchen materials and the best way to get through a remodel using top notched materials. He also recommended specific appliances, sinks, and cabinet hardware at very good price points - even though they were not the cheap ones I wanted these where nicer and cost less! Our kitchen looks amazing - and it isn't even finished yet. Jim and his guys are fast, clean, polite, on budget, and on time. It is a pleasant surprise to have such a painless experience with a contractor! I wish all of them could be as good. From planning to shopping, to installation, a great experience all around.

Skylight Leaks Fix by Jim at Encore

I hired Encore Better Homes (Jim) to work on a light well leak we were having. Jim and another worker came out and completely stripped out the old material and replaced it with all new everything. He put in new flashing and material about a foot up the sides to make sure there would be no future leaking. Then, even though this was not in the estimate, he sealed the work with aluminum paint.

I have had many a contractor out to work on my house then I called Encore Better Homes and boy what a pleasant surprise Jim Brubaker is the most Professional Contractor I’ve ever hired Thank God for Jim and his Boys they replace my hole roof in one day and I have a big house in Webster Groves that I rent out to a nice young doctor from Washington University in St. Louis. My renter told me that Jim from Encore Better Homes worked on his mothers house, well let’s just say I had my reservations, I thought it was to good to be true but I was wrong Jims the best I’ve ever come across he now will work on all my rental property in the St. Louis area. Just one note here Jims a Christian and does not work on Sundays me to and I did not know that when I hired him.

My New Custom Deck thanks Jim

Many styles and types are now available I did not know what to do then I called the helpful people at Encore Better Homes and they came right out. They introduced me to what to an introduction of composites and vinyl Decking, I now have a maintenance free decks as well as that look like a traditional cedar.
