My server Carlton was awesome very sweet yet extremely knowledgeable and professional.
The manager Sean also welcomed the same experience. I guess it's true what they say it starts from the top!

GREAT AND UNIQUE SUSHI

I like the Tiger Roll the best, and wings. Can be a bit expensive but worth the sushi, they make it fresh after you order, cool trendy spot but small , bigger one is in the central west end.

NOT sensitive to those with physical disabilities

Long story short, I will not eat here. I called ahead and made a reservation one evening requesting a table that was handicap accessible. I explained to the hostess that I had a physical disability. I get there on time for my reservation and the hostess takes me to a table that was not accessible at all. I explained to her again that I needed an accessible seat. She rolled her eyes at me and said, "well this is all we have or you can wait." I felt she and the other staff I spoke to about my special physical needs (i.e., having a leg amputation), were apathetic, rude, and ignorant. They treated me as though they did not want my service ( the eye rolling, speaking to me in a sharp, quick tone, and not making eye contact, or being cordial) and so I will never return back to this place again. Just shocking.

A love the variety!

They have a great selection of sushi. I've never been disappointed. The rolls are full of flavor and reasonably priced! Good happy hour too.

Great Place

This is the best sushi place that I have found in St. Louis. I love the atmosphere, food and staff. You can have a good time at dinner or come for a fun happy hour.

Love that Sushi!

My girlfriend and i love the ambiance, the great service and the best for last the fresh sushi. It's only second time being due to just moving here. When we got here from NY and asked around about sushi, the Drunken Fish came up and the rest is history! This is our favorite place for sushi and sake.

Great for group get togethers

My friends and I had dinner at Westport this weekend. There was a large group of us, but they were able to get us a table. The food came out pretty quickly even though there were a lot of us! We made it in time to get a round of drinks from happy hour before sitting down, which helped a lot with the bill at the end of the night...the drinks were super cheap!

Outstanding!

The only way to describe the food and service is simply "Outstanding". I had the pleasure of dining at The Drunken Fish at Westport this past weekend and I will become a regular. The night started off with a very pleasant greeting at the hostess stand and again by our waiter once we were seated. The bar was full along with the restaurant throughout our dininig experience. This must say something because as soon as a table was ready to be seated it was with many people still waiting to be seated. Our waiter had a great personality and was able to describe the menu in a way that made want to try something new. His energy level was high as well as his selling abilities. The food ranged from Appetizers to Sashimi and Nigiri Sushi and from Regular to Signature Makimono Rolls, Stir Fry to Fried Rice. The menu had many great items to choose from. After the many suggestions our waiter offered we decided on the Soft Shell Crab Apprtizer which was Soft-Shell Crab lightly battered with a Katsu sauce. Our waiter suggested a variety of wines and we went with the Greg Norman Pinot Noir which complimented the crab very nicely. We then decided to try The Drunken Fish Roll, The White Tiger Roll, and The Starburst Roll. All were outstanding in presentation and in taste which makes you want to go back and try them all. It is not only hard to find good food these day's but it is harder to find a server as dedicated to his craft as our server was Saturday night. I will not only be back but I will certainly tell my friends and family of my experience at The Drunken Fish Westport.

wow what a way to start eating sushi

I thought I did'nt like sushi but it was the thought of raw fish Yuck!! Then my 6 (several yrars ago) year old grandaughter brought some leftovers home and I tried it. Several different rolls from The Druken Fish. WoW. It is now our special treat for dinner out. The Druken Fish was her choice for her 9th birthday dinner. Her favorite is the eel. Mine is the star roll.

Poor Customer relations

I have gone 2 times. The first time I thought the rudeness and staff attitude was isolated due to maybe being understaffed and fairly busy. 2nd time I found out that no.. the staff is plain rude and the so called manager.. A very young girl is not capable of fixing anything. She simply said sorry bout that when I complained that the waitress was rude.
