Don Brown Chevrolet is a 2nd generation family owned Chevy dealership that works hard to maintain the family atmosphere throughout the various departments. When you visit our St. Louis Service Center, you’ll notice that everyone works together to give each customer a satisfactory experience. This means they have the knowledge, skills and training to take care of your vehicle properly. Terrell is the best. My credit is not perfect but I was able to get in a nice car that I liked. Terrell worked with me to get me into it. This is my second vehicle I’ve purchased from here. In need of a vehicle, this us the place to go. The whole staff is great!!!

My wife and I had one of our cars become un-drivable unexpectedly and so we began shopping for a new one and came upon Don Brown Chevy and his wonderful team working there. The majority of our experience was handled by Chris C. who was very professional and honest with us the entire time. He made something that many people dread an absolute breeze. I highly recommend paying him and the team a visit if you are in the market for a new or used car. They won’t steer you wrong. Pun intended.

The easiest truck buying experience I have ever had. Mike and his assistant were great to deal with. Definitely would recommend them for anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

Don Brown did a wonderful job getting us a car. A new car is hard to find right now and we were in the middle of a multi state move. Not only did Barney Rodebaugh find us a car, he also had it shipped to Denver so it would be there for us when we arrived in our new city. I cannot say enough good things about their helpfulness!

I have been looking for a truck for a while that was not crazy overpriced in my opinion and came across a 2012 Ram 1500 that was listed at Don Brown Chevrolet. The pictures of the truck looked good but did not show some key areas that I was wanting to see. After thinking about it for a couple weeks, I reached out to see if they would work with me and get pictures that I was wanting. This was important to me because I live just shy of 4 hours from this location and did not want to make the drive just to find something out that could be seem via pictures.

Melanie had no problem with taking the requested pictures. I was also worried that, once I told them how far away I lived that they would just write me off but this did not happen. I was able to communicate with Melanie via multiple methods including Phone calls, Text messages, and E-mail.

Once I got on site, I am sure she thought I was a little crazy as I was crawling all over under the truck, asking questions about things that I knew these trucks are known for as far as issues, and hooking up my tablet to the truck to scan all the computers and watch vehicle data while it was running. Melanie never made me feel rushed or that I was a pain in the rear while I was doing all my checks.

She had the service department help me take a look at the one concern that I had and was happy with what they found. Between the great price of the truck, the amazing customer service that Melanie provided, and the truck was what they said it was, that is what sealed the deal and I drove "Clifford" the 4 hour trip back home!

I worked with Michele Lokey and this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. She really helped me narrow down my search and was very knowledgeable about the cars. She answered all my texts. they sent me home in a car to drive until mine arrived. Also, Jerry from Finance was off the charts with helping me get a good deal.

I purchased my vehicle on July 3, 2019 it was a 2018 Nissan Altima SL. On Aug.7, 2019, I had to take my vehicle for service at an Authorized Nissan dealership. The supplemental airbag light came on and would not go off. Thats, when while the car was being serviced, I was called into the repair area and was shown that the car had some major damage. The heat shield was missing and the front edge of the under part of the bumper was missing. The undercarriage of the front of the vehicle was badly damaged and scratched up. Apparently, the car appeared to have been bottom out at some point and the heat shield came off of the vehicle and the oil pan was damaged and the car was leaking oil. The brackets to which the heat shield should have been secured to were bent. This is the information the Nissan dealership gave me in writing. The cost to repair the damages is approximately, or close to $4000. I contacted my finance company to inform them that I was not informed of any of this when I first went to test drive and see the car or when I went back to make the purchase. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I am a woman with very little knowledge of inspecting the undercarriage when purchasing a used vehicle. I am in the process of consulting an attorney if I cannot get some resolution from Don Brown Chevrolet, where I purchased the vehicle. I will also be contacting the BBB.

Wow - how incredibly Dishonest and Unprofessional is this Don Brown Chevrolet!

I would highly recommend people stay far away from this dealership. It is obviously operated by individuals with little if any integrity.

Case in point: On 06/30/2015 at 12:00 PM I called a salesman I had been dealing with and told him I had decided to purchase the vehicle we had discussed. I was en route to meet immediately. The salesman responded by asking if I could instead meet with him at 3:00 PM as he had a class to get to at 1:00 PM. In an effort to keep him from not missing his classes, and to help ensure that he got his commission, I agreed in an effort to do the "right thing" even though it was not convenient for me. We agreed upon a price and I discussed with him the need for my rental vehicle to be picked up at the dealership after we met and signed the paperwork @3:00 PM..

Low and behold, after waiting the extra couple of hours to accommodate the sales rep's schedule and after 45 minutes drive time from O'Fallon, MO, I arrived at the dealership at 3:00 PM. One problem - the vehicle had been "sold". Yes - sold. The sales rep said that the sales manager "Tim" had sold the vehicle from underneath him to a "close friend" in the preceding hour. I demanded to see the General Manager or Don Brown to have the situation immediately righted only to be put off by a "Patty" - a customer service manager? - and then by a "Tim" - a sales manager? - who did nothing to help. Don Brown refused to honor the deal they had agreed to through their sales rep and furthermore offered no apology or any solution to the problem other than to simply say that I had not purchased the vehicle and that it had been sold.

Wow. How incredibly inept, petty and...slimy. So typical of the stereotypical "used car experience". I asked the sales rep if he had notified the dealership that he was selling the vehicle and he assured me that he had and had requested that it be "washed" and brought to the front for pickup at 3:00 PM. So the dealership was well aware of the situation and pulled a "fast one" on an unsuspecting potential customer to further their own personal needs.

Uh, not good for business, folks.

If you promise customers something - like the sale of a vehicle for example - and then deliberately break that promise to satisfy selfish ends and then further refuse to make the situation right while there is still time then, well...you pretty much suck. If this is how they handle a situation like this then one can only imagine how they handle the rest of their business.

As a consequence, I will forever tell everyone of my experience with this greasy dealership who has absolutely zero class...Don Brown. You have been warned....

I purchased my first new car from Don Brown Chevrolet last week -- a 2019 Chevy Volt. I was impressed with every aspect of my experience. Of all the dealerships I visited, Don Brown was the only one that took my interest in an electric vehicle seriously -- the vehicle was fully charged and Brandon, the sales associate with whom I worked, was extremely knowledgable about what makes it unique. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, and Brandon got me a great deal on the car. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with this dealership!

Tim Ryan worked hard to find the right vehicle for me. Paul Deyoung did a great job walking us through the close of the deal.

This is the second time I have dealt with Chris Culbertson and Ben Cordia. Each time was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. They both were caring, kind, and considerate to my needs. Each time there was absolutely no pressure. I have now bought two cars from Chris or Ben. I have absolutely no regrets on each purchase.
If you want to be treated fairly and with respect regardless of your life situation I truly suggest you go to Don Brown Chevrolet and ask for Chris or Ben.
