I have been going to this shop for many years. They listen to my needs. After a couple of braids, they ensure that I want them to continue or if I want a different braid (thinker, thinner, longer, shorter). My hair has been natural (no perm, curl, or any chemicals) for over 20 years due to my sensitive scalp. When told to avoid my edges, they do so.
Unfortunately, I have read some reviews that are not what I have experienced going to this shop for around five or more years. As I sit in the chair, clients are being called and asked if they will show up for their appointment. I noticed that, we as clients, sit in the chair and speak for hours on our phone which is a foreign language to the hair braiders. Is it a crime for the hair braiders to speak their language, which is French, while they are on the phone?
When an appointment is made, people need to show up. A hair braider should not make plans to be available when the client does not have enough courtesy.

WARNING!!!!! DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR BEAUTIFUL NATURAL HAIR TO THIS TORTUre.....I'm serious!!! I cannot begin to explain how or why anyone would put their hair in a position to fall out, because that is precisely what will happen if you allow this salon to braid your hair. 1st I consistently said it's too tight she continued to braid it tighter. It was so tight around my edges of looked awful because my skin was pulling!!! 2nd I took in a picture and even sent the picture prior to my appointment and explained I was after the same shape and style and i wasn't lookinv for exact perfection. I even explained what I didn't WaNt....lastly it's ridiculous to sit on a personal call for 5 hours ( not exaggerating ) speaking another language and not focusing on what I am paying you to do! So RuDE and so Unprofessional!! And last but not least there were at least 3 clients who had been told to come that day and when they arrived no one could do their hair because of various reasons, more or less they just say yes and see who shows up! Never Ever Again and I'm telling you do not do it!! I took my hair down within 1 hour because my scalp hurt so bad and a day later I'm still so sore I had to massage with oil. I have ahs my hair braided a thousand times and this places SUCKS!
