I reached out to this facility a little over 30 days ago while seeking adult day care for my mother who has Alzheimer's. Upon my initial contact, I was very pleased with the compassionate demeanor of the young woman (Nicole) I spoke with. She assured me they could assist and offered a tour of their facility the same day. I visited the facility, which is 0.9 miles away from my home. I was thrilled by the heartwarming reception I received and the impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of each person I encountered. In addition, I was elated that the facility was not only close to home, it is clean and inviting. There is a nurse and a couple of CNAs on duty. They provide two hot meals and a snack as well as transportation to and from the facility. My mother began attending Monday-Friday the week after my tour. She adapted very quickly to her new environment because of the nurturing staff. In the past, my mother had begun to shut down...not communicating and rarely smiling. Now, when I pick her up she is laughing and talking. She wakes up on the weekend asking when I am going to take her to work. LOL I would recommend Beginning Anew Adult Day Care to anyone seeking excellent care for their loved one or looking for a place to meet others during retirement.
