I am a current tenant of Baywood. They provided many upgrades to our property before we moved in and continue to be responsive when problems arise. They've sent out a repairman within 24hrs in all cases. It's been just over two years now and the staff has been friendly, helpful and professional at all times. I would highly recommend this realty to anyone. -Pete

As an employee of Baywood Realty & Constr. Corp. I would like to respond to the review by Ann Dimitroff. As we've been in the business of Commercial Real Estate for over 60 years this is the first negative complaint we have received. The Better Business Bureau heard Ms. Dimitroff’s complaint and decided that a “good faith effort” was made to her and dismissed her claim. Also a Small Claims Court filing by Ms. Dimitroff was judged to be in Baywood’s favor on 4/30/14. I recently moved out of a Baywood property. Two weeks before that, there was a storm that caused us to lose power in the building. The building management did not at all respond until the next day, even when we told them there was a smell of smoke in the wall like an electrical spark. When the power came on, 12 of our fluorescent lights were damaged and I had to replace the ballasts at a cost of $500. On the day I moved out, again there was an electrical spark in the wall as I removed my electrical outlet and ALL lights went out again. I called the Fire Marshall who deemed the breaker box faulty. They also found poor wiring from the main breakers and stated that the building will need some rewiring before the next tenant moves in. Tim Bogeman from Baywood stated that he would have the building inspected on Monday. When I called the City of Kirkwood to get a copy of that report, they told me the inspection was not done, nor even scheduled. Tim had his electrician do a quick fix and replace the breaker box and is taking it out of MY deposit!! This is how Baywood does business - they pass all costs from tenant to tenant, never having to pay for any repairs on a building that is old and in need of repairs. BEWARE!! Be sure to have a THOROUGH inspection if you plan to move into one of their properties. Better yet, DO NOT rent from Baywood. They are not at all concerned about your well being or your landlord- tenant relationship!
