I recently took my radiator here to be repaired, while I was in the shop I asked the guy if he could check the radiator for me, the next day I got a call saying the radiator was fixed and it would cost $50, I didn't authorize the repair, but if it was already done and the radiator worked it would've been fine. After being in my car for 15 minutes the welds broke, I took it back they said they would try to fix it again, the second time didn't work either.



So now I was ready to get my money back, the warranty was 30 days, full price of repair on a new radiator. So I went there asked for my fifty dollars back, the guy said I could only get the fifty dollars if I bought my new radiator from him for $175, first of all that is overpriced by about $50 over retail, $75 over wholesale, and as a dealer he should get a discount, and that is the price without labor, because I don't trust people touching my car and places like this are the reason why. Second of all he won't honor his own warranty, because it says full price of repair on a new radiator but nowhere does it say that I would have buy the radiator from him. He would not accept an invoice from another parts store, nor will he give me the name or number of his supplier so that I could confirm the price.



So to recap I got screwed into a warranty that had I actually authorized the repair, I wouldn't have accepted, and they won't even honor that warranty unless I give them more money
