Great service. Very honest. They deserve 10 stars. Every other famous transmission shop that I contacted said they need to rebuild the transmission to fix the problem (for $1800+). Ron listened to the problems I had with my car and suggested that we try topping off fluid. And yes, that fixed all of the problems, under $100! His employees are very courteous.Thank you for being honest and saving me money.

Initially we had Austin's replace the transmission in our van when one of the local "oil change" places caused transmission fluid to leak out and lock up the engine. We recently asked them to check the transmission fluid 10 years later prior to a vacation. Austin's work and warranty is great. The people are friendly and seem to care about their customers.

Austin Transmission replaced our transmission after one of the local oil change shops damaged the transmission. Never let anyone talk you into changing your transmission fluid without first checking with experts like Austin Transmission. Years later, Austin's is still caring for our van and we have been soooooo pleased with their work. The people there are friendly, thorough, and genuinely care. We will not trust transmission work to anyone other than Austin Transmission!

One of the worst decisions I ever made.

I had a 97 FWD turbo eclipse that the transmission locked up in second gear after 120K miles.I got the car back about a week later, cost me $3,500 for a full,"upgraded"transmission or atleast thats what they told me.I never pushed it hard and never had a problem with it until it reached 20K miles. The transmission got stuck in third gear during casual driving.I got it towed back to Austin and went home when it was getting towed.I called them to see if they could tell me what happened when the car got there. All they tell me is"it's gonna cost some money to even take a look at it."I decided to go down to their shop personally to talk to them. The first thing I notice when I pull in the lot is my cars front end is laying on the ground,so I asked him if it had arrived looking that way, because it didnt leave that way.He said no one was here when it was dropped off, eventhough it was midday Friday. And lost my only set of keys including a Viper pager. Try to avoid any Allen or Austin transmission
