As a former employee of the Mary Margaret Daycare center, on Telegraph road, there are a few concerns that families should know before enrolling their child. Many of the teachers are untrained, uneducated in child care, and don't care. Diapers are never changed on the required two hour guidelines. Children are cursed at, forced to do things they don't want to do, and not taken care of properly. A few things that concern me with the teachers: they are not drug tested, many talk about using narcotics regularly, background checks aren't up to date, use abusive methods as in pulling hair and pinching, and do not follow state rules and regulations. The building is very run down, and frequently has outbreaks of pinkeye, lice, staff infection, and many of the children have yeast infections/ diaper rashes. Child care is always a decision of importance. Never send your child to Mary Margret's Daycare.
