Arctic Ice, starting in 1966 as a secondary business at the back of a restaurant manufacturing 500 pounds of ice, is a state-of-the-art ice plant producing more than 150 tons of ice per day. The facility is fully automatic, from ice making to bagging and deliveries are made from six loading docks using 25 delivery vehicles. The company has two freezers with a storage capacity of 600 full size pallets of ice that enhances its capacity to meet the demand of regional ice companies during times of high demand. Arctic Ice has its headquarters in St. Louis.
