The women who check us in was very nice. Very caring. She also did the exam on my cat and was very gentle. Great person. Very professional.
The doctor was awesome. Again very caring. Explained everything me. Told me how much would cost before they did anything.
The nurse who check us out explained everything I needed to and watch for when I got home.
I highly recommend going here
Prices were much lower than I thought

Horrible vet--Melissa Lord

My 15 year old cat, Ginger, had been very ill for weeks. She had stopped eating & lost a lot of weight. I had been working with two vets to help her get better.
She started to get better & was almost herself again. She had a bowel movement, was gaining weight & had started to eat on her own a bit. Then I woke at 6 am on Friday Nov. 18 to see her having severe difficulty breathing, convulsions & she was urinating involuntarily. Our vet was not open so we rushed her to the Animal Emergency Clinic, I was in tears. We told them she had been very ill. It was clear from her current state that she needed to be put out of her misery; we did not want her to suffer unnecessarily. I asked, but they told me I could not go back with her while they inserted the catheter. I knocked on the door after 5 min & they opened it & I asked if I could stand there on the other side of the open door & watch. They slammed the door on me as they said no. Finally the Dr. Melissa Lord came out, without Ginger, & proceeded to yell at me & tell me that I needed to trust them. I said I just wanted to be with my dying cat, she told me she would not treat my cat if I challenged her again. Meanwhile, my cat is in distress & pain. It is inconceivable to me that a vet would indulge in what came across as a power trip with a crying pet owner during a euthanasia procedure. I told her to bring my cat back to me. She refused. I told her I would call the police if she withheld Ginger from me, & only then did she bring her out to me, catheter in. She asked me if I wanted her to put Ginger down & I said yes. While she was injecting the chemical into Ginger, she said “I can’t believe you would torture your cat like this”. While I was wrapping Ginger’s dead body in a blanket, she said “don’t ever come back here”.
I have never had such a bad experience, or seen such a lack of compassion for my animal, clearly in distress & pain, & for me as an owner of a dying pet.

Kind and Caring

We had an emergency in the middle of a Saturday night with our oldest dog. He was dying. I called the clinic to tell them we were on the way. The person on the phone was compassionate and very kind. She gave me directions to

their location. Unfortunately, our dog passed away en route. They were willing to try to bring him back, but it was too

late. They were very understanding the whole time that they gave us a room and all the time we needed to say goodbye. Then a few days later I received in the mail a card with a paw print of my beloved pet. It touched me more than I can say. I knew for sure then that they treated my baby with the respect and dignity that he deserved. I wish that they could have brought him back to me, but they did the next best thing and gave me something to remember him

by for the rest of my life.
