They do good work. They're very expensive and take forever to fix the mower. I called in early February and just got my mower back yesterday. Poor customer service coupled with high prices makes this business a no go.

Wow! Was so impressed with the customer service from the employees and the knowledge they had. They were very upfront about all costs and what needed to be done. I love supporting local businesses especially when they are as great as Affton Lawn!

Bad experience! BEWARE, will do repairs without contacting you. Very dishonest.

They picked up my Cub Cadet on 1/15/15...Brought it back 3/5/15. Minimal

communication during the period. By 3/5, we had moved and I made an appt. to have it delivered to the old house between 9:30 and 10:00 A.M.

Delivery truck showed up at 11:15 which pretty much destroyed my

I'm normally not much of a review writer but I felt compelded to share my great experience at Affton Lawn. When I went to the store for the first time I was greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Which is definitely not what I had to deal with at Home Depot. The boy at Home Depot didn't even know where I could take there equipment if I bought it from them for service. After he told me I don't know for the 5th time. He suggested that I should go online to educate myself. Not the answer I was looking for, I was already aware I could do that, duh!



I made a wise choice and bought from Affton Lawn Equipment where my mower was fully serviced and ready to cut when my sales guy brought it up to show me how to use it. The extremely knowledgable staff got me into the perfect mower for me and my yard:) I would highly recommend these guys for all your lawn equipment and service needs. After I left their shop I also realized that it sure felt good to give my business to a local family own shop. Instead of some mass merchant that normally knocks local business out when they move to town.

In the past, a pretty good place to do business, but I can't recommend it these days, especially in the area of repairs. On service work, they will promise to give you a call before doing any repairs--and they will--but should you decide against the work, they will charge you $40. While they say this is their policy, they won't tell you this ahead of time in the event you decide to take your business elsewhere. Instead, they'll spring this charge on you at the 11th hour to somehow recover some of their lost time. In other words, they are either deliberately deceiving customers or to a lesser degree, very bad communicators.



So be careful with this company--ask a lot of questions and get their policy in writing. Otherwise you'll be like me--the owner of a irrepairable weedeater and $40 poorer.
