One very cold winter morning, I started my truck and the engine was making an awful racket. I had it towed to Matt's where his team looked at it. Judging by the noise, they thought it was a bad cam shaft. It would take an expensive engine tear down just to find out what the problem was, and if it was even fixable.Matt and I went back and forth on options (new engine, scrap it, etc) for about a week. One day he called me and said he'd woken up at 2 am with an inspiration. He threw a can of Sea Foam in the engine and the noise went away. His research showed that my engine tended to have a sludge build up. The Sea Foam, a $50.00 fix, took care of the problem. Of course, you shouldn't expect a miracle like that every time. But what it showed me is that, if Matt's waking up at 2 am thinking about my vehicle, he truly cares for his customers.

We just moved to St. Joseph. Our car was having problems. Matt's was recommended by our new neighbors. The problem was one that could easily have been taken advantage of by a repair shop with lower ethical standards. Matt's took their time. Researching and eliminating the less expensive (and potentially less easily identified) potential causes. The actual cause was unusual and, once identified, easily resolved. They found the problem, fixed it and saved us a lot of money and earning them loyal customers. Jim L.

Love this local auto shop. I needed major maintenance done on my charger. These guys took excellent care of me. They did all the labor and parts for under Matt's estimate, and several hundred cheaper than the quote from my dealership shop. I will continue to use this shop for all of my vehicles in the future.
