Hello I just wanted to tell you a little about MY personal experience with this lady in her own facility. I have worked for Maryline for 3 months now and I JUST HAD to quit TODAY Aug 26 ! Today I was working and had a client call the store. She hands me the phone when she stays talking on HER personal phone speaking in French. The lady I was talking to on the phone was Spanish. She asked me if I knew Spanish so I could BETTER assist her. Maryline comes back in the shop hearing me speak in Spanish and gets highly upset. And tells me "I DO NOT want you to speak Spanish because I don't know Spanish", I cannot talk to my clients that way." (Well then WHY HIRE me ? ) She says that is how she wants to run her business. To speak ONLY FRENCH & ENGLISH. If you do NOT speak those languages she will not service you as she does NOT UN-DER-ST-AN-D YOU ! She wanted me to take care of the Spanish customers but NOT to speak in Spanish. Pure DESCRIMINATION ! ITS A VERY SMALL BUSINESS THAT DESERVES TO BE SHUT DOWN FOR THIS RACIAL ACCUSATION. Spanish people should be aware of how she is and NOT recommend to take their pets their. & Before walking out she tells me this --"wow, so you are quiting because I told you NOT to speak spanish, see this is why I DO NOT deal with Spanish people because they NEVER follow the rules..." America, something MUST be done about people like this ...

I can't say enough good things about Uptown. We have been bringing my shih tzu to them since 2012, but they changed owners a bit ago and we are happier than ever. They did a phenomenal job on my shih tzu, especially considering she was very long and had some matting. She was so happy when she was done and hasn't stopped "smiling" since. I would leave 10 stars if I could.

I brought my puppy into this salon. When I dropped him off I told the 2 women that I was very nervous to get his hair cut, and we didn't like his face shaved. We liked his hair long and if they could clip the hair by his eyes and not shave his face that would be great.She assured me they were not going to cut his hair, possible just trim. When I picked him up his whole body was shaved, along with his face. I was not happy and dogs were barking like crazy. I just paid and left because I was upset and not sure what to say. I have tried to contact them via email twice and have yet to get a reply in 2 weeks. Very unhappy with them, even though they were very nice in the beginning.
