I love CVS for their store deals, but would tell anyone in my area of St. Clair, MI to NOT GO TO this CVS pharmacy for your prescriptions! If you are coming from a doctor's office with a very sick child in your car and need to use a drive through pharmacy (because it is the only one in town) you risk waiting in their parking lot for hours while they put your child's antibiotic on the back burner while they sit on the phone with other peoples' insurance companies. It would be well worth it for you to drive to Marysville or Lenox and have your scripts filled elsewhere. My mistake was trusting CVS to fill the scripts my local doctor e-scribed to them promptly. 1. It was e-scribed Friday at 3:15 pm 2. I was told by CVS that they did have the scripts but that it would be an hour. 3. Waited in parking lot with sick child in car seat, pulled up after the hour and they had NOT started to fill the script (because according to them - they were too busy on the phone with other peoples' insurance companies) but assured that they would text me when it was done. [NOTE: My insurance is fine, no problems, the same for four years]. 4. Called corporate line from my cell phone in the parking lot at 4:22 pm - waited on hold for 10 minutes while they tried to figure out what the heck was going on. 5. Pulled back up to window and refused to leave the window until I received the prescription. 6. Waited a minimum of 10-15 minutes at window, received prescription with receipt time stamped 4:52 pm with a PROMISED TIME OF 5:07 on the script, which obviously is a TOTAL LIE and their way of pretending to have on time scripts. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A SIMPLE WIDELY PRESCRIBED ANTIBIOTIC (Amoxicillin) FOR A 2 YEAR OLD CHILD WITH A FEVER OF 103!!
