Having the unfortunate experience of actually living here. I would advise people to find housing else where. Everything that people say here it true. The manager is rude & unprofessional. The entrance ways smell horrible. She threatens to tow residents vehicles monthly. Never plows the parking lot in the winter. When I moved she would not refund my deposit, I turned her into the better business bureau. My apartment was cleaner when I moved out than when I moved in. When she finally issued my refund she charged me for "partially painting a bedroom," that was NEVER painted before I moved in AND the reason she had to paint it was because we had MOLD in the room & it stained the walls. My son went to walmart and bought bleach & scrubbed down his own walls because she would not address the issue. DO NOT live in 117 apt. K. MOLD is there just painted over. We moved bc of the MOLD. Place is a joke and yes her daughter does live there w/ her boyfriend & they BOTH have drugs charges pending. Documented in mocase.net, I have a video of her boyfriend getting raided by undercover police & getting taken away in handcuffs (the first time). Ask to see the laundry facilities. The stairs are an accident waiting to happen and the room itself it disgusting. dirty. Run from this place. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I was at the rental office of the apt. complex I live in now & a girl came in looking for an application & I told her not to go to Creekside, she said it was on her list to go there but NOT anymore. I tell everyone I can to avoid this place. The only reason I am leaving a star is because I am forced to leave something by this site

I love how the only "good" reviews on this manager start with "the manager is a friend of mine." or "I have known her for 40 years." In reality the manager is a rude, unprofessional, bitter control freak. She sends out newsletters talking about how to "conserve" energy while driving to work everyday when she just lives on the other side of the apt. complex (which is about .25 miles). Her daughter who lives there has a case pending against her for felony drug charges (last name Breakfield) look it up in Missouricase.net and her boyfriend who is THE maintenance man and has the keys to your apt. is wanted for an outstanding warrant. His name is Justin Maynard. Just look at the addresses listed in the file on MOcase.net. They live in the apt. complex. Many people I know have had items come up missing out over their apts. and the apts. themselves are a dump. There is NO updated appliances like the ad states. The entrance ways smell awful and at the neighboring apt. complex people sit outside and drink and booze it up all night. This place is horrible horrible horrible. I don't understand how they stay in business anyone who lives there with the means to go somewhere else leave as soon as they can. I have to leave a star unfortunately. But in reality it is a NEGATIVE star!!!!

I agree with the posts here and those found on other sites. The manager is a horrible person, rude, verbally abusive and a thief.

Manager SUCKS! She is very rude! Has no customer service skills whatsoever. She is very picky (in a non-efficient way) about everything and tries to act like your mother. If I wanted to live with my mother I would just move back home. The apartments are quiet for the most part but the residents are very strange. Most of the residents are under section 8 housing. The apartments have flooded twice now. So if you choose these apartments do not live on the first floor. There is a creek directly behind the apartment that needs to be fixed that causes these floods but the city nor the apartment complex will fix the problem with the creek. When the creek flooded last summer the tenants on the lower level were instructed to have their things moved out or they would be thrown away. The apartment complex took no responsibilty for the tenants belongings at all. Everyone was left to fend for themselves. Most renter's insurance does not cover flooding, even if it is a catastrophic event so be aware of this if you choose to live here. Maintenance is pretty decent but the manager has gone through 2 different people in less than a year. This obviously shows how difficult it is to work with her. Lastly, the manager is AWFUL!
