Watch OUT!! First of all, the business is NOT LOCATED where it shows listed, and hasn't been since early 2013. Joe now "picks up" and "drops off" repair items and is very cagey about disclosing the location of the new garage.



This gives him a lot of clout in RETURNING one's property such I've had the misfortune to discover.



In late June/July I asked Joseph H., the owner of Scooter Pro to fix a faulty fuel gauge on my Dong Feng scooter. He allegedly did with a 30 day warranty -- upon return, the gauge didn't work properly stranding me several times FAR FROM TOWN before I could reach him again.



When I finally did, he again insisted on picking up my scooter, although I offered to take my scooter to him because he was "so busy". What could I do? I'd already paid him in full $75 for the original repair & it was a warrantied service.



So off he went with my beloved scooter on his trailer. AND I HAVE NOT SEEN IT SINCE!! About 3 weeks ago, Joe called me because of a poor response review on Google Plus. I explained to him I'd take it down or consider altering it ONCE MY REPAIR was completed satisfactorily and in a timely fashion.



Much to my surprise, when Joe called another 3 weeks later saying the repair was complete, I was going to tell him where to drop it off, when he suddenly said, "I'll drop it off WHEN YOU take down the original review, Lisa". Cheeky, yes? I reminded him that I'd said I'd CONSIDER doing so WHEN I received a well-repaired scooter back first! At this point, he then threatened to TAKE OFF THE NEW fuel gauge & would CHARGE me for his labor in doing so! Extortion! Blackmail! yelled my mind!



I've since asked BBB, Angie's List & a wonderful man in my life to try & mediate the situation, with both he & I telling Joe where he can drop off the REPAIRED scooter. That was two days ago. NOTHING. Joe DOES call my clients' phone numbers though (not my personal cell phone number he has) trying to force me into another unpleasant encounter with him. My health is fragile & so frankly, I don't handle talking to threatening people in my life very well. Joe has the location to leave my scooter & keys. But he refuses. He will not return my property REPAIRED and THERE IS NO ADDRESS to find my scooter to make a further demand. Remember? the address listed here in YP, Angie's List, and his business license with the State of Florida is NOT where he is located anymore! Hmmmmm......

I was looking for a scooter and before I found the other shop I went here and quickly left. Shady beware!
