THIS IS THE GHETTO ... Literally, it feels like a housing project... But I'm paying Over 1,000 in rent and utilities

Please spare yourself.... This is literally the worst place to live. I moved into a townhouse($867 per month) almost 2 years ago. I fell in love with the laminate wood flooring, soaring ceiling and brick fire place. IT WAS A TRAP.Management is horrible not even 2 years have past and we have already been through 3 different property managers. And the most recent, Shelly is the worst. Shelly is extremely unprofessional and doesn't seem at all qualified to run a property. This community's budget is very minimal and that is their excuse for everything. They allowed me and my family to live with several MICE for weeks because they did not want to pay for an exterminator... only traps (Shelly claimed the land was farm land, so it's normal for field mice to enter homes for warmth) She is ridiculous. Nothing gets done in a timely manner here... And you can forget about contacting corporate, they never return calls. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!

The management here is HORRIBLE. The property manager doesn't care if you live here or not. I qualified for a discount because I work at the airport and I didnt find out about it until 5 months after staying here. Someone at the airport told me then the property manager didn't want to honor the discount because I didn't bring it up when I signed the lease. Like I was supposed to know. The tenant across the hall left her kids in the house by themselves and they burned the apartment down and not once did the manager come and ask if we needed help or how things were going. To add the our joyous stay here she left and the roaches and fruit flies behind so now everyone in our building has roaches and they only sprayed the apartments to those who complained about it. You would think they would spary everyone's apartment but NO that was too much to ask. Some months we don't even recieve a rent statment telling us how much rent is going to be. This place SUCK…never come live here EVER. Communication is the worst I have ever encountered, the property mnager could give a damn about you, maintenance is wack and this is a living hell.

I have never seen a worse maintenance crew than the one at Pear Tree. My ceiling has leaked FOUR times since moving in just 3 months ago. Each time it started to leak I had to call at least THREE times in order to get a response. When they did respond they fixed the leak (after a couple tries) And then blamed me the renter when to soaked ceiling started to fall apart. While the mangament is super nice, the maintenance workers are worthless. If you like to wake up to standing water in your bathroom, then rent here. otherwise do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.
