^^^larry has no idea what hes talking about...gas chlorine is used to make granular and "chlorinated" Not only that but all major water districts use the same gas chlorine in your tap water.. Also chlorine is not errosive, its corrosive...the water im your pool is errosive, think about the fact the grand canyon erroded through thousands of feet of rock...the same stuff your plasters made of. also your granular and tabs are chalked full of calcium and cynric acid (both of which will build up higher and higher until u are forced to drain your pool.) Ive been on the service for years, with no issue.. larry got fed a lie so he would switch services and pay another company more money for LESS service...oh and those guys give me 3 25lb bags of D.E. for free each year :)

This is a good company. They are on time and do a decent job. I let them go after I learned how they service the pool. They use gas chlorine in the pool vs granular chlorine. The gas type erodes plaster. They know this but use the cheaper product. 3 stars.

Our company uses 100% pure liquified chlorine gas, this is the same product generated by salt systems and used in the majority of public pools. It is a myth that chlorine gas erodes plaster--this has been studied and published by the National Plasterer's Council among others (see www.npconline.org). Plaster is damaged when the water chemistry is out of balance which is why we carefully monitor and maintain all levels including pH, alkalinity, cynanuric acid, chlorine, hardness, and TDS. Our 31 year track record speaks for itself when it comes to plaster protection, professional chlorine application, and water chemistry balancing. I would invite the reviewer to call us to discuss our best practices and the research behind why we believe that chlorine--in any form, is the best sanitizer for both the swimmer and their pool.
