My name is Marie Maguire and back in August of 2010 I called Bouncin Roo's to order a 22ft water slid for my sons 14th birthday. When I called a guy named Jerry or Gary answered, he told me that he could definitely provide a slide for me and that I would need to put down a $75 deposit. I told him that, that would be fine and to send me a link to his pay pal account, he then called me back and said if I payed the full amount of $230 that day he would knock off $15. I agreed like an idiot, the day of the party came and he was supposed to be at my home from 6am-8am when 8am hit and there was no sign of him I called him, he did answer the phone an apologized to me and said he was running a little late. I told him this was fine as long as he was there and the slide was set up before 2pm the start of the party. 1pm came around still no show then 1:30 hit no show and he wouldn't answer his phone. At 2pm the kids all arrived in their bathing suit ready to go, the slide had still not arrived and there was no word from Gary/Jerry. So when we realized he wasn't coming we called another company who said they did have an 18ft slide and could be over within the hour they saved the day!!! The next day I finally got a hold of this fraud and he told me that a bunch of his employees and left his product in trailers on the side of the road. I asked him why he didn't answer his phone or call and he said that his phone had landed in the water (bull s**t). He then told me he would refund my money in full plus $75 and 3 gift certificates for rentals, he said to give him about two weeks and I should receive an american express gift card in the mail. Two weeks passed and month two months and now we are here today still with NO REFUND!!!!! Every time I called to ask the status of my refund he had some lame excuse as to why it hadn't arrived. I admit I was an idiot to trust that someone still had good values and cared about their word. I really wanted to ring this guys neck for putting me and my family in this situation the $ wasn't the issue it was the fact that my son and all his friends could have been let down. I have reported him to the BBB and would advise anyone who has been scammed by this man to do the same.

I rented a bounce house for my dghtr's 5 bday. This man failed to show, call, or even try to contact me, when supposedly he was abandoned by former workers that day by them leaving his trailers fully loaded on the side of the road. After dealing with him for not returning my money, I can understand why they quit on him. I kept having to call him for my refund. He kept guaranteeing me and promising me a refund with $75 addt'l, & 3 complimentary rentals for my inconvenience. When I would call at least 2x a week, he would continue to say,” No, I guarantee you're refund is in the mail." He even went as far to say that he banked in Michigan. So needless to say I waited one more week. On Friday, Sept.17th 1 month after I paid for the bounce house will not progress in refund. He said no, I guarantee you it will be there by next Friday, in all honesty. I told him he didn't know what honesty was and did he really believe that I thought he did. So I thought to myself, he's trying to go over the extended time for me to file a claim with PayPal, which is the only way to pay him, if not in cash in person. I filed the claim, in which PayPal allowed him 10 more days to rebuttal to no avail. I did get my refund and the memory of my child's 5 birthday will forever in my mind be the most terrible day because this loser had no decency to provide the service his so called business is listed to do. BEWARE! I would never recommend or try his business again!! Bottom line if you do, pay him through PayPal with your credit card instead of bank acct. You'll get your money back quicker, because it's credit card payment for service not received. Had to at least give him 1 star otherwise this post wouldn't go through, but he doesn't deserve any stars.
