If you haven't been- you need to go. It can be a long wait at times, but it's so worth it. The desserts are absolutely amazing!

Fabulous cakes and pies. And very popular evidenced by the long lines. But the line moves fast and if you're patient, you'll find a table. The servings are huge and the most difficult thing is deciding what to order. My favorite was the "Chocolate Indulgence" cake.

We've been wanting to try this place. We had a carrot cake which was really good and moist and a flourless chocolate cake which was just ok. The kids had a hot fudge sundae. Cute diner decor. I say try it at least once.

I am currently looking for a great place to be a regular into, this place looks like a place where people always get what they want because they have fresh bread.

Definitely a Sacramento staple. The new location has more room, but you can still expect a crazy line pretty much anytime you go to Rick's. Personally, I love their cheesecakes and pies- the cakes are too much of a sugar bomb. But everything so delicious and it has a great diner feel- perfect for special occasions!

This is a must do and when you do you will do it again. Their cakes are all 6 layers...Maybe seven. Fresh made every day, when gone it's gone. Perfect coffee that goes with every dessert in the store. Plus is it's open late!

pretty good service. The staff is quite polite but not that quick. I will com back because the dessert is great. THe price is hard to beat.

I am a frequent visitor and the chocolate mint mousse tart is my favorite one!

I love their red velvet here! They should stay open 24/7 and i would be here everyday! Thanks Rick's dessert for having the best goodies in Sacramento!

This place is great I come here maybe a few times a month just for their variety of goods. I like the style of there shop as well, the pictures are great the atmosphere is super fantastic but mostly I love the Peach Cobbler, Parfait, and their Cream Puffs!!

Love the cheesecake here! I come here with my boyfriend every weekend just so I can have some of the amazing cheesecake they have here! Highly recommend.

Awesome dessert diner! I came here with a few friend since we saw a line of people we had time to kill and decided to come here. This diner is pretty cool with their retro style and the desserts were soo GOOD! I have a big sweet tooth and being there I felt like a kid in a candy store. I had a little of everything and the one I liked the best was the crème brulee tart.

I went up to Sac town on some quick business and was referred by a co worker to check out this pastry diner. Am so glad that I did. I had the Apricot Almond Gateau and it was really really good. It was big enough for me to take back to my hotel and snack on it for the next day as well. Good time.

Ok, I stop by Rick's at least 2 times a week. My favorite thing in the delicacy of decadence is the fresh fruit tart. Not afraid to say it. But I felt it was about time I let the people know how awesome this place is. So many choices.

we had a rainy day, and decided to search for the best dessert place in sac. we are disappointed we havent found this place before!! i ordered the white chocolate mousse tart and my husbad ordered the red velvet cake. my tart was superb. my husbands cake was good- if a little dry, since it was obviously a day old. but as a huge fan of red velvet he said it was good, especially when he got towards the top which was more moist. a working juke box added to the little diner in the wall experience. we will definitely be returning.

This place is the unbelievable!! They have some oh so delicious desserts!! Made fresh & they are unique!!
