The Northeast Division is a part of the Sacramento Sheriff's Department, which provides a range of public safety and law enforcement services. The Northeast Division provides patrol and investigative services to the communities of Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Foothill Farms and Orangevale in California. It employs more than 100 sworn officers and over 15 support staff members. The division also maintains two community service centers that are staffed by problem-oriented police officers who handle specific community problems. These officers work in conjunction with other agencies, such as fire, code enforcement, licensing and animal control, to alleviate complex neighborhood problems. The Northeast Division s detectives unit investigate assaults, burglary, domestic violence, theft, vandalism, street-level narcotics activity and other miscellaneous crime cases. It is located in Sacramento, Calif.
