We came to Furniture USA needing a couch for our new place ASAP but having no clue what we were looking for. Kenneth spent over an hour with us, patiently explaining the features and drawbacks of each model with us-offering keen suggestions on what we might like. When the couch we chose to take home wouldn’t be in stock for 4 weeks, Kenneth went above and beyond to make it available for us with delivery to our home the NEXT DAY. Needless to say, we were very impressed with the customer service at Furniture USA. Thank you so much to Kenneth and the rest of the staff-we will definitely be back!

Best furniture stop in town! I was helped by Qadeer last week, extremely professional and definitely a dedicated salesperson. I bought a cal king bedroom set and I’ve bought a lot of furniture for my house from here before but customer service this time was just great that I had to push myself to do a review. Very Professional yet incompetent.

Furniture-USA is a great store with great pieces of affordable furniture. Unfortunately, they are incompetence personified.

(1) Kenneth is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. However, he is your typical salesman who is mostly interested in the sale and not customer service.

(1)(a) Before finishing my transaction for the sale of a sofa, I came upon the discounted sofas near the register. I mentioned that I wanted to look at these and he quickly informed me that I wouldn't be interested in those and that the more expensive one I had decided to buy was the perfect fit for me.

(1)(b) I had voiced numerous concerns about how the sofa would clear my apartment stairway. I had informed him that I had lived on the 2nd floor of a downtown apartment complex where the staircase is particularly narrow. I asked if the sofa would come in multiple pieces and would then require assembly upon deliver. He informed me that the sofa will come in one piece, already assembled. I voiced my concerns stating that there might be trouble getting into my apartment. He informed me that the "white glove" delivery service is done by professionals and that since they're professionals, they would get it into the apartment somehow. He even mentioned the legs of the sofa can be removed for easy transportation. This is a material fact that I had relied on. Had I not received such assurances from Kenneth, I would not have bought the sofa.

(2) The "White Glove" delivery service did not appear to be professional at all. For an $80 delivery service, which is comparably steep when compared to other furniture stores, I was expecting a bit of professionalism and due diligence. Instead I get the following:

(2)(a) The delivery agents contemplated the delivery for about 5-10 minutes. Ultimately, they decided they could not do it without even trying to get it up the stairs, or even bringing it out.

(2)(b) I had also ordered a coffee table. I asked if they could let me take the coffee table. They told me that if I were to take the coffee table, I would have to pay a $40 delivery fee...They would not let me physically take it from their truck and carry it myself. I was required to pay money to take something that I owned...

(2)(c) Overall, not a professional $80 white glove delivery service you would hope for. They were of Latino descent. One had a tattoo on his wrist and continuously referred to me as "bro."



(3) Stella is a very nice individual. I was mainly communicating with her to effectuate my refund. She was very professional, friendly, and easy to deal with. Unfortunately, she had erred in some processing my refund. She accidentally refunded me the incorrect amount, which was $50 less of what I should have received. Although she quickly called me back and fixed the problem.

(3)(a) I'm not sure who processed my order originally, but, as aforementioned, she did not change my telephone number in her system after I had told her that it was incorrectly listed on the bill at the time of check-up. She said the change would be made, it was not made, and subsequently, the white glove delivery service was not able to contact me, and presumably the deliver was occurred later.



I give Furniture-USA a two star rating for the following reasons:



1. Kenneth Royale is very helpful when you're deciding which furniture to purchase.

2. Stella is very nice.

3. They honored my request for a refund even when the contract clearly says "No refunds or exchanges."



The low rating doesn't necessarily reflect that they are a bad company. It merely means that I've had a bad experience.

Great Serivce & Quality

We live in TX so when shopping for new couches, we were weary of buying something online that we weren't able to physically see... We did some shopping around and decided on what we wanted. Then went online and came across Furniture USA. They had the BEST prices and when we contacted them, they were always friendly & helpful so we ordered. We LOVE LOVE LOVE our new couch, chair, & ottoman!!! And thanks to Furniture USA, we knew the status of our order from day 1 until we received it! THANK YOU!!!!

Lied to and cheated

NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE. Went in the this very nice looking store to buy furniture. I was impressed by the look of the store everything was neat and clean and organized. They have a new slant on the floor model sale they were running. They have prices marked and 30% off signs all over. I found this very confusing. Found a set that I liked but only part of the set was 30% off and the price was not as marked. My salesman got tongue tied as he tried to lie his way out of the pricing. I felt he was LYING so I ask to speak to a manager. I watch my salesman walk to the desk area and talk to this small asian fellow. Salesman comes back and says the manager does not have time to talk to me right now. He ask if I can wait. So I wait. This went on for over 30 minuts. The manager never did talk to me. I walked out and will NEVER walk back in.

We do not discount prices because our prices are already the lowest price guaranteed. Sometimes we will accept offers from customers to show our appreciation, but this occurs rarely. If you ask us for a bargain price with an attitude, it will not happen. In this economy, many furniture companies have gone out of business, but Furniture USA continues to stand strong and will continue to stay strong and help to the community when we can: donations to the country, participation in Toys For Tots, car washes for local schools...and more. Also, we honor all our soldiers at 10% off, if you're a soldier then you're qualified, if you're not then you're disqualified. Thank you for the language in your feedback. It says it all.

One Star Too Many

Wow, what a horrible experience. Rather than rant about our experience, just read the first two reviews written by the Store it's self. Not even good English, let alone believable if you’ve ever been there. Ask to see the Owner and all the sudden no one speaks English, what are they hiding from?
