Clean and well maintained within walking distance of the Sacramento Convention Center, major agency HQ's, and many fine restaurants. The exterior and surroundings are nothing special. The room is pretty bare bones, but is clean, safe, and relatively quiet. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. A very good bargain.

It was close to Sacramento Convention Center and the price was good

I was looking for a good bargain in/near downtown Sacramento, without being in a bad part of town. This hotel provided that, and I will likely stay here again on future trips. The staff (owner/manager?) was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel was good, and in a great location for easier freeway access.

This hotel was in a great location, nice staff and overall good value.

The receptionist was super nice. The hotel isn't Dumont anymore so don't get confused about that. They are in the middle of re-branding it and remodeling it. The room was clean, and there is an IHop right on the parking lot. Not bad at all for the price.

Mini-fridge, Microwave, and Analog TV with cable in room. Full bathroom, tub with shower, and Heating/air conditioning unit in each room. Continental breakfast. No swimming pool, but plenty of free parking.

The overall stay was fine, the room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and the shower produced hot water

The best part about the trip was the location and value!

I was totally surprised at how nice this place was! I was not expecting much, yet it was so clean, well kept, well located and the management staff was most pleasant. I will definitely stay there again!!

We grabbed a bunch of rooms here after driving in from Reno for a monthly dance night in Sacramento because they were cheap and in a great location for walking around Midtown. One of our companions brought a "CSI Light" and gave the rooms a once-over. No bodily fluids were found.

Location is really good and safe, staff is friendly and nice, the hotel is spotless clean, rooms are big and you have all you need. You can see they take care of the place.

I will go back there, no doubt, if I come back to Sacramento

Awesome place to stay... staff was super comforting when I had a meltdown

Needed somewhere to stay overnight near downtown and I'm so glad I picked here! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was average, nothing fancy but clean and it was only a 15-20 minute walk to downtown and less than a $10 taxi fare back. Will definitely stay here next time I come to visit!

I have often stayed at 4 and 5 star resorts. I would never expect to compare them with this. This was very close to my conference site and I only needed a place to sleep
