I've been shopping at Bugperfromance since 1995/ 1996 when the were at the old location. Larry, Steve and the rest of the staff are always very helpful. They have a huge selection of parts. I appreciate their services and low prices they are very competitive even with internet prices. Call them up and give them a chance. I even have to drive there from woodland. Always find the staff helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I'm always treated with respect and return again and again while I work on my '72.

Staff is friendly and helpful...have been helped by this family owned business for over 20 years and will continue to come here.

Horrible Shop!!!! There is really nothing else to say about it. Like one of the previous reviews I also encountered profaine language. Very innapropriate for someone that has children with them.

I will never step foot in this shop again! Overpriced and rude employees! I will tell everyone and their brothers to steer clear! Bad way to run a business you want local business then you should treat the locals well. Better luck online or even Auto Zone.

I am new to town, (Sacramento area) went to Bugformance in Sacramento for my VW parts, Thank God i found a local shop that was willing to help me with my parts and my questions regarding my car. Bugformance staff was very helpful to me and I will be buying my parts there and visiting them for any VW related info........

I've just started using this shop for parts only. It is convenient, and their prices are outrageous. More than the extra money, which I would consider if I needed something NOW, high prices and ignorant floor help don't make for a winning experience. That's the bad, but I have been a pro VW mechanic for thirty years, and there are good folks there also. I wouldn't recommend it for non Bug people, it is apparent from these other reviews that it is risky to order major work. For the most part, VW autos since 1967 are all basically ess, if you think any shop will fix your Jetta, Golf or other, instead just flush your dough down the toilet or marshal up a down stroke on a Civic, or Camry. Forewarned is forearmed. If you need to put coolant in your Dub, you own the wrong car.

Went into store no one willing to help with out a better-than-thou attitude. Employees unprofessional and rude! I will not go back! I found a place called foreign parts specialties that has tons of vw stuff minus the attitude. If this saves one person the hassle of bugformance than it was worth posting. If I could I would give it 0 stars!

Everything is way overpriced. Go online you can get much better deals and quality, without the hassle of being treated like you don't know what you are doing.

Customer service skills lacking. Talked down to for asking how much something was. Return policy is rediculous like other shopper stated. Even if they sell you the wrong part you only get store credit and they can't get you the part you need. Nice way to run a business, no wonder they almost closed. Someone could take all of their customers if they opened another bug specialty shop in town .

Return policy is extremely flawed. Order online at jbugs dotcom better prices and you don't have to deal with Bugformance.
