Like all apartments, there are pluses and minuses. Since the current owners took over in April, there has been a frenzy of rennovating vacant units while those of us who live here can't get basic repairs completed. I've had an outstanding work order since the beginning of April. They did repair a leak in my ceiling but I had to threaten to put the rent into an escrow account to get that done. Check out the photo of the finished repair. It's August and I'm still waiting for a screen so I can open my bedroom window, although screens were ordered for all the rennovated units. The grounds are often littered with trash and cigarette butts and the laundry room is so dirty and nasty that most of us take our laundry elsewhere. Living here is like living in a construction zone--constant pounding, power saws and demolition. The dumpster is chronically overflowing with construction debris so trash piles up pretty quickly. Smells pretty bad too. It's really kind of embarrising to have visitors over. Okay, now, on to the pluses...The newly rennovated units look really nice but if management doesn't take care of their current tenants, how well are they going to take care of you once you move in???
