Rafael Hern ndez K-8 School offers a range of educational programs more than 350 students. The school maintains a staff of over 40 teachers, as well as serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its syllabus includes English, mathematics, science, computer technology, music and language arts. The school also administers the English as a Second Language program. It conducts school parent council meetings. Rafael Hern ndez K-8 School has won the USA Today Teacher Team of the Year award from USA TODAY Newspaper. It has partnerships with the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy and Boston Partners in Education. The school maintains an after-school center, as well as organizes field trips.
