The Texas Baptist Children s Home offers Christian care for abused and neglected children in Central Texas. The organization offers residential care for children and single parent residential care. Residential care reaches families in conflict who face issues ranging from alcohol or substance abuse, violence and family disruption due to divorce, death, unemployment or other issues leading to family conflict. This program provides care to children ages six to 17 in seven cottages, housing up to eight children each. Family Care is a place for motivated mothers and their children to live, save and transition into a successful, independent future. The organization was founded in 1950.
