I have been taking my dogs to Round Rock Animal Hospital since the mid-90’s (I don’t remember the exact year). I have had nothing but beyond exceptional care for my dogs. They are caring and provide excellent care (Dr. Hocher was the only who could finally clear up one of my Cocker’s chronic ear infections!) I have no idea if they are considered an “affordable” vet compared to others, but they seem to be to me. I always feel I am getting more bang for my buck when I take my dogs here for care.

On an immediate note, I had to have my dog put to sleep yesterday, and they handled everything in a way that I cannot describe. From calling for the appointment to walking out the door they were amazing. They were caring, sympathetic to me and my sweet Hayes, and just wonderful about the hardest decision I’ve ever made. He wasn’t obviously “sick” - he was doing the “I’m going to be a good boy and not show how miserable I am”— so I had to make a conscious decision to do the best thing for him (and a very hard thing for me). I could not have asked for better handling of a horrible experience. Thank you to all the staff at Round Rock Animal Hospital. When I’m ready for a new dog you will be the first stop on the way home.
