Absolutely terrible place to take your car unless you want a blown engine on a year and a half old car. How hard is it to put the oil plug in guys seriously I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this location and their 3rd party insurance company they use her name is renee complete witch and unprofessional and doesn't call you back. I will have my lawyer handle the rest

I rarely take the time to review any service providers, although, this one seemed necessary.
I had been a previous NTB / Palatine customer with nothing but the upmost respect for NTB and Carlos with any given services and / or advise given. I recently had an experience with Alex at NTB / Round Lake Beach, that was nothing less than a sales game, in my opinion. I had taken my vehicle in for the $115 SES light inspection, and received everything that was faulty on my vehicle other than what I had brought my vehicle in for. Nor did I ever receive any information regarding the SES light. I was told the vehicle came in with no oil, due to oil leak. The oil had been checked prior to taking it in at a 1/2 quart low. The recommended Oil pan gasket leak happened to be a Rear Main crank seal leak. I have spent $3,700.00 with the dealer gladly, after this experience. The dealer repaired the condition with the SES light, which had nothing to do with the estimate given from NTB / RLB, as well as, the additional repairs needed. I don't mind spending the money on my vehicle to keep it on the road, although, I do not like being redirected to other needed repairs prior to addressing the situation the vehicle is being taken in for. I still consider Carlos, NTB / Palatine an honorable, trustworthy repair facility, I would have to say that all stores are not equal. The car dealership may be priced considerably more, although, they are more experienced with the vehicle, and customer service. I'm sure NTB would have rather I spent my $3.700.00 with them as opposed to any other outside source, although, I can't imagine returning to NTB, unless it would be in Palatine.

This is a great NTB. They put new tires on my car and aligned it and drove it afterwards to make sure it was good to go and i would have no problems with it. I have previously had bad experiences at OTHER NTBs but this NTB in Round Lake Beach won me back. I will be return for all my auto care in the future. You can see that the reason this shop is run so well is because the manager knows how to take care of his customers and manage his employees. Come here if you want a job well done!

I live in McHenry and I will drive 30 mins just to get awesome service.
Got a flat tire in west Milwaukee. NTB in Milwaukee, didn'thave time to fix the tire. This goes for Mundelein and Crystal Lake. Put me a week out. I call Round Lake and had no problems getting in to fix a flat.

Can't say enough great things about the store. As a single mom I never felt taken advantage of. The NTB card is great and beneficial. They even gave me a ride home while my vehicle was being services, this was above and beyond the call of duty and very much appreciated. I love that they are open Saturday night and Sunday. Great Job NTB, Great job.

Today was my first visit to this store as I needed an oil change. The manager was incredibly helpful and friendly. The issues with my car were explained to me and more so, in a way that I would understand as I am not a car expert. My check engine light was on so they pulled the codes for me. Customer service was phenomenal. I will definitely be back for my car needs. Thanks guys!
