This company came in and took down the tree in my dad's yard because it had died. During the process the belt broke on their machine so they said they would be back within the week to finish their job. My dad, being the trustworthy person he is paid the guy in full. Well a week passed and no return. About a month after the "belt broke" my dad finally called to ask what was going on and each time he has called the company they make it sound like they will return and never do. Now a full year has gone by and my dad tried to call again to get the job finished the guy had the nerve to tell my dad to file a lawsuit against them because he isn't coming back. What a terrible way to do business and terrible people for taking advantage of someone's kindness!!! I don't recommend this company at all!!

Three days ago, the owner of American Arborist Tree Service, Inc. out of Round Lake Beach, Illinois contacted me to ask if he had permission to bring some equipment (a crane) onto our property in order to cut down trees for our neighbors.



After he provided us with further details, we told him he was more than welcome to use our property for the purpose intended, but as long as he was in the neighborhood could he please give us a price on cutting down two trees.

After asking us a few questions i.e., did we want the wood from the trees, or did we want it hauled away, did we want the stumps ground, how far did we want the stumps ground down etc., Ron gave us an excellent price. I told him I would get a couple more quotes and then get back to him, but after a call to my son I found out this company has done business with the local government for many years and they have always been satisfied with job performance, so I contacted Ron and gave him the OK to go ahead.



As it happened, he had another job scheduled for the next day which was right down the street and advised he could do our trees the same day.



Within 90 minutes of their arrival his crew has the two trees cut down (these were huge pines), the wood chipped, four trees stumps ground down (my husband asked for two other stumps to be ground), our fence removed and re-installed, this time straight instead of crooked, and the entire work area cleared of any remaining brush.



To say we were pleased with the performance of this company would be an understatement. All workers are professionals from the word go and I'm sure if you hire this company to do work for you, you will be as impressed as we were with the services provided.



We were so impressed with this company and crew that we recently requested an additional quote.
