Charlie was very quick and very helpful. My car died on an the overpass of I-94. I called AAA and they gave me a wait time of three hours. I called Van's and Charlie came out within 20 minutes

If this company takes your vehicle back to their yard, make sure you take note of everything inside your vehicle.

This is one of the worst towing companies I've ever dealt with. The 'woman' if you can call her that and not a troll was very rude and confrontational. My registration and proof of insurance were in the glove box and she would not give me access to the car. I had to yell and get mean just to finally have her give in and send someone to check for them so I can get my car. When the picked the car up after the accident occurred, they told me they could not tow it to my house(even though im paying!) and just left me at the accident scene with no ride, and no contact info to get in touch with them. He lied and told me my car had to go to their impound yard since he also had to tow the other car involved. A separate truck was dispatched to take the other car, and he still wouldnt tow it to my house even with that excuse burned up. Never trust these people, they are crooks plain and simple.

Receptionist was very rude. They won't let you get your belongings! Outrageous prices. They will keep your car and you will still owe them 300$ only towed short distance from 696 gratiot

They impounded my vehicle and caused damage to the driveshaft my pick up truck

I have never in my life experienced Simone so rude as the receptionist in my life. Also they damaged my vehicle and didn't want to hear about it they had me so frustrated that actually I am going out pf my way to make them pay for it.

Best service, my car was in a accident, someone ran the light and totaled my car.

This company is a horrible business and they are in the market to rip people off. I got re-ended back in Septemeber of 2010 and obviously the accident was not my fault and my car was towed to their lot. When I went to reclaim my possessions that were left in the car they wanted me to pay 400.00 dollars to retrieve my things, which I didn't have so in turn they would not let me got back in the lot to get my belongings. Well a couple months pasted and I got a bill for 700.00 that I had to pay or I would have been taken to court over the matter. So they win either way. It disgust me that in this ecomony that they can take advantage of hard working people like that. There should be a law against accidents that are not your fault and retrieving your personal belongings from your car without paying. I would never use this company!!

My wife was on her way to work on Friday when she got caught in the freezing rain and her car slid off the expressway, crashing in to the center ditch on I-94.

She called our insurance company and after waiting over 3 HOURS, one of the drivers from Van's Towing stopped to see if she needed help. He offered to call our Insurance company to find out why it was taking so long for them to send a truck and let her sit in his truck where she could warm up.

Thanks for your kindness, and being there to rescue my family.

I have to say that the receptionist at this place is by far the rudest and unprofessional lady I have ever spoken to in my entire life. I am from out of state and totaled my car and when I would call to find out what I needed to do to get my belongings out of my vehicle she was short and rude on the phone and even hung up on me once. Not only was she this way with me but she did the same to my insurance company. She refused to help me in anyway and when I was going to have information faxed to them she told me it was going to cost me $1 a page because they had to use their paper and ink yet this is information I needed to get into my car. Since I am from another state I am not able to just drive into the license branch and get this information. Horrible service and I will never ever use them again and am telling everyone how I have been treated and not to use them.

All I can say is a company that takes pride in their trucks as well as they do, and I mean wow clean and shinny trucks, says alot. I would recommend them over any towing company in any day. Fair price and fast service.

I was stranded with my two children and I called Vans to help me! They were very professional on the phone and very fast on the arrival of a truck. I have used them for years and also years to come!
