I'm going to check out the racquetball today. I also thing fred.ferrett.7 is a cry baby... but I'll confirm after I see for myself.

As a racquetball facility, their limited number of courts is still the best around in terms of their cinder block construction and relatively clean walls. But that’s where any favorability ends. As a fitness center, the place is a dreary dump. The cardio area has treadmills and elipticals which are still functioning but unfortunately, the predominately Nautilus exercise machines are at least 30 years old and not being maintained properly. The club still has a funky sauna but that’s going to cost you $7.00 even if you’re stupid enough to become a member.

As for free weights and dumbbells, there are none other than a few light ones lying around the cardio room floor.

The facility has recently added an indoor batting cage with 3 token operated pitching machines. One of the cages offers slow pitch softballs. Now get ready for this, each token only gets you 12 pitches but that token is going to cost you $3.00! The going rate at any other comparable facility in the area is only a dollar per token. So if you’re a coach thinking of getting your kids some indoor batting practice this spring, you’re out of your mind if you take them to Rose Shores.

Would I recommend Rose Shores for any activity? Absolutely not......
