This past April 17th and18th, our area was hit with massive amounts of rainfall in a relatively short amount of time. Our house had flooded before, but nothing could have prepared us for what we woke up to that dreary thursday morning. Our furnace And A/C were under nearly 6 feet of water. We knew who we needed to call: West Suburban Heating and Air.



This company has been in business for more than 50 years, I believe. My husband and I have been faithful customers as far back as I can remember. They had been located in Elmhurst originally and that's when we started using them. I know that when I call I will be greeted by the same familiar voices I've grown accustomed to throughout the past several decades. 



It's a pleasant reassurance that a small business can continue to make it when all the odds are seemingly stacked against them. This company has been owned and operated by the same family all these years and I will continue to seek their services indefinitely. 



When I called in the early morning hours of April 18th, I left a message. I knew I needn't worry. I was given a call back just minutes after 7:00am. I said I'd be needing a new furnace and A/C. Weather permitting, I was told that I could be granted my request the very next day. 



What I like more than anything about this company is their honesty. If you do business with them you know the job will be done meticulously well. Their expertise shows. They use a quality product and take pride in what they do.



If you're looking to cut corners when it comes to your heating and air conditioning, perhaps you're somehow desensitized to the volatility of Chicago's weather. I feel like people under-appreciate the importance of maintaining their furnaces and A/C's. 



Obviously our weather is unpredictable. There's always a chance that something could happen that leaves in a bit of a predicament. It's just fortunate for my family and I that we've continued to have a relationship with this company. They've helped us out in a bind. Post haste. We've been able to live in comfort because they truly do care about more than merely their bottom line. They care about the well being of their patrons.



Lastly, It's easy to understand how frustrating it can be when you feel you've been ripped off, but to complain about something as petty as a five dollar gas surcharge seems unfathomable to me; in all capital letters, no less. 



If anything, I feel that only further perpetuates my previous sentiment regarding West Suburban Heating and Air's penchant for providing their customers with honesty. As opposed to hiding the costs elsewhere, they are forthcoming about the charge. I'm not sure about you, but I prefer things being expressed in a straight forward manner, as opposed to fancy semantics used purposely to manipulate and deceive.



To each their own, I suppose. I just want to thank Janet and company for always taking care of my family. I have nothing but gratitude for you and all you do.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS HEATING AND A/C COMPANY. I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. WITHOUT GOING INTO DETAIL, THEY CHARGED ME $305.00 TO PUT 2 POUNDS OF REFRIDGERANT IN MY CENTRAL AIR UNIT. THE UNIT IS OLD AND MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF WILL BE REPLACING IT BUT NOT WITH THIS COMPANY. THE BEST PART IS THAT THEY CHARGED ME $5.00 FOR GAS TO COME TO MY RESIDENCE.WE HAVE HAD AN UNSEASONABLY COOL SUMMER SO FAR IN CHICAGO SO THIS COMPANY IS VERY SLOW, BUT THAT'S NO REASON TO CHARGE THE CONSUMER MORE. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BBB REGARDING THIS COMPANY. AGAIN, TAKE MY WORD FOR IT AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ..I WAS CHARGED $ 305.00 FOR 2 POUNDS OF FREON AND EVEN 5.OO FOR GAS THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM ...ALSO REPORT TO UNION ..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT ....
