I am the Original owner of a $64,000 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat. I brought my car to R & L for some paint repair work. the owner (Don Ganrude and his painter Troy) seemed very nice at first! However, when I brought my car back home I began to notice areas of "DRY" paint, and discovered that my window was damaged! 3 months later, after using high quality Ritrama vinyl pin-striping tape, the clear coat layer of the paint delaminated and came off the door. Don said this was my fault because I used the wrong tape! He refunded me $331.40 out of $801.11 that I paid. He was very angry, unprofessional, and very rude! I wanted to tell him why I was not coming back to his shop, and all he said to me was that he did not care as to why! Now, this entire situation is going to cost me about $2,800.00 to get redone and my car my never be the same! His painter (Troy) blamed a rock chip as to why the paint came off. Don also told me that his Dupont Paint Rep. said that it was my fault as to why the paint came off the door! These people seem very nice at first; however, if you have problems, good luck! Just be very aware!
