Burner King came highly recommended to me from our neighbor and although we didn't use them for our gas conversion, I WISH we had! They were more affordable and I know they would have gone out of their way to get the job done right and ON TIME! Burner King is well known for their conversions for a reason, and I regret not signing with them. We ended up hiring a plumber that we had used in the past, which has taken longer and has been more stressful than it would have been with Burner King. When I was ready to pull out of my other contract, I contacted Burner King and spoke with Toni-ann, who did everything in her power to reassure me and walk me through the process. I am forever grateful to her for taking the time out of her busy day. Burner King has earned a life-long customer with me going forward.

In the past 2 years, I have dealt with this company on 2 occasions. Last year, I selected them to do an oil to gas conversion for my home. They gave an extremely fair price and offered a financing option which allowed us to complete the conversion. All of the workers who came to the house were courteous, prompt, and neat in the work that they did. The office was extremely communicative, both in completing the conversion process with national grid and our town, and with informing us about dates and times of work.

This year, we faced an unexpected accident when a car drove into the gas main of our home. Burner King made sure that workers were at our house and making necessary repairs within several hours of my calling them. Additionally, they negotiated with national grid and our town to ensure that we would have heat and hot water immediately, instead of after a 5-7 day period. It is December, we had been through a serious accident. We have a 3 year old and a baby on the way and Burner King fought through red tape for us to get our gas turned back on. They fought for us and worked for us like we were their own family.

I recently purchased a home through a short sale to find a broken oil burner (beginning of December). After contacting LI Burner king, Brian Link came and was able to get the boiler running for a few days. After speaking to Toni at LI Burner king they submitted all the required documents to national grid and helped get gas conversion in record time. The LI Burner has experience with National Grid they do not cut corners making all my inspections pass with no problems.

I wish I had read the google and yellow pages reviews before I hired this company. Despite an excellent job done at my parent’s house 5 years ago, my experience unfortunately echoed many of the google reviews. Don’t be fooled by the A BBB rating. The gas conversion last March went very well until there were some issues with getting all radiators to heat evenly, getting the CO for the work, and getting the rebates promised. 90% of their employees are great - especially George. But I couldnt get anyone to respond to the issues that the town inspector had or with the rebate problems after weeks of phone calls and messages. Finally, after a threatening letter, the CO problem was remedied. If you, change anything on your contract, make them put it in writing. Many things that were “no problem” ended up costing an extra $900. They are very responsive when getting your business, not very thorough when evaluating the job, not responsive to issues after they have been paid, and are very quick to point fingers and play the blame game ( national grid was wrong, the inspector was wrong, and some how my electrician was wrong). I will not be renewing my service contract after this year is up. On the positive side, the system is working well this winter and did eventually pass inspection. Good work, poor service.

I recently had my house converted from oil heat and propane to natural gas. Brian Link came to my house for estimate and explained the entire process and gave a competitive price. Burner King made all arrangements with the town for permits and National Grid making the process easy. They kept me informed on when National Grid would come and when work would be performed. I am extremely pleased with Burner King's quality of work. Thank you again. Glenn Dengeles

great service, install, response times and price is stellar!!!

charged thousands less than other boiler companies, because they didnt nickel and dime me. didnt charge for small paperwork that had to be done with the town.

other contractors wanted $4000 for permits and such, as with burner king that was included.

no problems with install whatsoever. good plumbing job. always answer their phone.



Brian called back at 1030 at night after getting out of surgery!! thats service!



dont know why they had some bad reviews? they are much better than other heating companies i've dealt with.
