Established in 1980, the Early Discoveries Center offers early education and child care services for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The center provides enrichment programs that include painting and art activities, dramatic events and indoor games. It organizes dance sessions to develop self-expression and motor and coordination skills. The Early Discoveries Center provides assistance to enhance early math and problem solving skills through blocks and puzzles. The center s curriculum assists with the growth of muscle skills, including balancing, running, jumping, throwing and catching. In addition, it organizes talent shows, rainy day movies, computer fun activities and summer camps. The Early Discoveries Center s facility features outdoor play areas, indoor gymnasium and activity room. The center maintains a location in Ronkonkoma, N.Y.
