Mad Digger Inc. is most recent generation in the Fehr family history of earth moving. Starting with Henry Fehr who farmed, dug graves in the winter, and moved earth with a cart and mule team on many projects including Stanly lake. His son Dennis also farmed was an army combat engineer in Alaska operating dozers, drag lines trucks and cranes. He then worked for Adams city manufacturing digging basements, installing septic systems, driving trucks and digging wells. In 1971 Dennis and his son Greg started Fehrs Backhoe service. Fehrs Backhoe Service installed septic systems, installed and repaired water lines, dug basements and room additions and even cleared snow in the winter. In the late 1990s Fehrs Backhoe service became Fehrs Excavating Inc. offering the same services and with Gregs son Aaron joining Fehrs Backhoe in 1996 through 2016. Since 2016 Greg and Aaron started their own company under the name Mad Digger Inc. offering generations of experience. We offer many services specializing in foundation excavation, soil conditioning, site grading, fine grading and many other services. We work throughout the north Denver metro area and north eastern plains of Colorado. We offer loader, backhoe, skid steer, excavator and tandem dump truck.
