Rockwood Elementary School provides learning opportunities for students in kindergarten through grade six. The school conducts academic classes in the areas of art, music, technology, reading, speech, math, science, social studies, life skills, and health and physical education. Rockwood Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that sponsors a range of parenting classes, outside speaker sessions and student activities for the student s overall development. In addition, the school has a guidance department that communicates with parents, teachers and administrators in the areas of student issues and needs.
