EmailPotomac Home Health Care (PHHC) is a non-profit joint venture of Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital (both Johns Hopkins Medicine). Phhc is a full service, medicare certified home health agency providing a comprehensive range of home care services in Maryland and Washington, DC. Working within a team approach, we make every attempt to recognize and meet the needs of the homebound patient.Our program stresses personalized care, tailored to the patient's individual needs. We work closely with the physician, the patient and family members in planning. reviewing progress and making adjustments to the plan of care. This approach results in a better treatment plan and greater understanding and support for the patient and family. Our program has the unique capability of offering the resources of two full service hospitals.To be eligible for service, a patient must: * Be confined to the home * Require skilled nursing or therapeutic services on an intermittent basis * Have a home health plan established by their physician.

We used their services for about 5 years. During the first four when we only needed daytime help, they were OK, but once we needed 7x24 help, they were unreliable. Staffing people are poor. If someone calls off due to illness, lots of luck getting a quality replacement. Has too many that were not easily understood. Had to teach some how to make a sandwich. Their aides spend way too much time on their cell phones playing games and taking personal calls.
