Established in 1912, Burgess & Niple, also known as B&N, provides assessing, planning, designing and building solutions in infrastructural facilities. The company serves government agencies, military organizations, colleges, universities and private companies in the United States and other parts of the world. It designs roads, buildings, dams, tunnels, bridges, sewers and hydroelectric power plants. In addition, Burgess & Niple inspects, surveys, studies and develops construction plans and procedures. The company offers in-house electrical, structural and mechanical engineering, construction administration and environmental services. Its project list includes the Auburn Career Center, Rocky River Civic Center, and Greenup Locks and Dam. Burgess & Niple has also handled projects for Kent State University and Marietta College.
