My family and I were loyal customers here for almost two years, but they have changed for the worse. I have had several sub-par haircuts here in the past, but they were worth it for the cheap price. Last week, I spent a $30 gift certificate there to get my nails done. I got a gel French manicure. They told me they would last two weeks, and that if I had any problems to call them. I had them done on Tuesday and they were peeling by Friday and were completely gone by Saturday. I did no unusual activities that may have caused wear on the nails. I also have had gel manicures done other places without problem. I called the store on Monday (because I was out of town until then) and they said I could come in Tuesday for a redo. The manicurist was apologetic and redid my nails, but they would not "set" and they half wiped off and irreparably smudged when she touched them. In order to remove the botched polish she buffed my nails instead of soaking them like you're supposed to do with SOAK OFF GEL POLISH and left my nails scraped and damaged. She tried again to do my other hand but said she had to use a different type of polish, which had very limited color selection. I did not like any of the limited colors, and she had mentioned a refund earlier so I asked for my money back instead of having them redone, since I did not trust them to not just peel again. She went and talked to the owner and he refused giving me any money because I did not call them the day it happened, even though I had time stamped pictures of my ruined nails available. I asked to speak to the owner but he was "in a meeting." They told me they would redo my nails (which they were obviously incapable of doing correctly) or they would give me $10 off a pedicure. Like I would ever give them more of my money! I am sad this place is now not worth my time or money. And what kind of owner refuses to speak to his clients? I will not be returning, ever. I advise you to avoid this place unless you feel like throwing your money away.
