The owner of the company's name is Mark Franz. I found the Check Mark Flooring first on Angies List and then ran across the name again on Craigslist. My first interaction with Mark was via phone, in which I was wanting to get a quote for the labor of a “big box store” product, given they were charging me $9,100.00 for the products, labor (installation, removal of existing flooring and moving of furniture)” in 1,700 sq ft. of space.



Mark assured me he would beat their price and also offered to sale me the products he carried, which were more higher end and less expensive (he gets it directly from the distributor). Surprisingly, his quote was $2,200.00 cheaper than the “big box store’s”. We paid him in three installments (deposit, completion of the upstairs carpet, and completion of the downstairs laminate).



Overall my wife and I are extremely happy with the services provided by Check Mark Flooring. Our floors are leaps and bounds better than the builder grade products we had before.
