Born 1967 in Petersburg IL, Troy joined the Air Force straight out of high school. He served in the Air Force for 33 years as a jet engine mechanic and production controller, earning five Commendation Medals, two Achievement Medals, and a Meritorious Service Medal, as well as an Associateâ??s Degree in Production Management. Retiring from the Air Force in September 2018, Troy moved to Merritt Island, Florida, and built a new home there. He started AmVet Concrete Coatings with his friend Mark Huseman, hoping to help out his local community, and the response has been overwhelming!
