Traveled to Rockford for business. I tried several different restaurants in town and this was by far the best! I was greated by a friendly staff a waitress "Ania"and the owner jimmy even came up and asked how my meal was. It was a great experience all around. Would definitely recommended it for a great steak!!!!

great service ups & downs on food

My in-laws have been here a couple times but it was only my 2nd time here...

The server was friendly and got us in fast for a Saturday! The owner stopped by & gave us free fried oysters which everyone loved...

My calzone was bland as was the mac n cheese. Our dessert was awesome...we would love to come back!

My wife and I ate at the Stone Eagle tonight and were very disappointed with the food. My wife had a chicken dish that she described as having no taste what so ever. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich which had what seemed like nacho cheese sauce on it instead of real cheese. Awful!

If you like expensive, mediocre food and poor service - than you will love this place. Waitress was slow, didn't know the items on the menu and didn't bring bread that was listed on the menu with the salad. Jimmy's crab salad is just a lot of boring, immitation crab meat with three shrimp on top. Greens were mostly ice berg lettuce. Small cup of bisque for $4 - not worth it.

Jimmy better step up.

LOVED IT!!!

After reading many negative reviews about Stone Eagle we avoided it like the plague. However, curiosity go the better of us and we broke down and went there last Saturday night, and I am happy we did. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was great (especially the pizza) and the waitress was enjoyable even though she was extremely busy. The manager bought our dessert since we were asked to move to accommodate a larger party. Over all, the experience was great and we plan on returning next weekend.
