Pleasant experience

I went to Diana Barrar at the Barrar Hypnosis Centers and in 2 sessions stop smoking after smoking for over 25 years and as a added benefit I have also started losing weight. My overall experience was a poositive step tword the new healthy me.

I was told that the sessions were taylored to the individual and that many people don't require more than one. After giving a thorough history, the first session consisted of listening to a pre-recorded tape on general relaxation. This was $170. I left feeling disappointed and slightly agitated. No benefit was noticed during or after the session. I called to discuss this, I was assured that the next session would be better and taylored to me ($140.) Obviously I chose not to continue.

Mary, I understand that you thought you did not recieve a personalized hypnotherapy session. However, you must have been extremly deep during your session not to remember or recall all of the personalized suggestions that I gave your treatment. This is actually understandable that you thought this way because when a person is deep in the hypnosis zone they sometimes don't recall what was said to them and as for a follow up treatment I always recommend a follow up hypnotherapy treatment to get feed back from the person and to cover any lose ends if their are any also to make the new positive behavior stronger in the subconscious mind. No treatment is a magic wand however, you must work along with me on a conscious level for the hypnotherapy to be 100% successful and I do teach you how to do this at home during your treatment and I also have dvd's and cd that will reeinforce the suggestions that you receieved.
