I was shocked when Vaughns charged us $295 to clean out our sewer line. It took half an hour during regular hours and the plumber seemed only slightly more knowledgeable than I am. It was a mistake to call them but I called around the next time and found a much better deal.

We have used Vaughns for 20 years to meet our plumbing and heating needs. When our water heater rusted out after 3 1/2 years we called Vaughns for the warranty work. Yes, they did replace the water heater, but charged us for 3 hours of labor at a cost of $240! The plumber was here at our house for 42 minutes. We never signed anything or were given any paper work. We only received a statement for $240 with no explanation. When we complained, they said they would remove $80 from the bill. I'm so shocked and disappointed by this transaction. Vaughn's did not provide us with quality service, they padded the bill.
